About

Welcome to the Susquehanna Music Festival, where music unites the community in celebration of creativity. Our festival is built on the values of community, respect, honesty, passion, and creativity, and we are proud to offer a unique experience with a diverse lineup of talented artists. Our goal is to create an unforgettable event that showcases local talent and advocates for a supported cause. The Susquehanna Music Festival was founded by Benjamin Leighow and Paige Rhine, university students and community members who strive to promote change in their local and surrounding areas.

Benjamin Leighow

I'm Benjamin Leighow, a marketing student at the University of Pittsburgh with a passion for music and creativity. My journey has led me to exciting roles, from working at PromoWest Productions & Stage AE to being a Student Ambassador for Pitt Business. These experiences have deepened my love for the arts and honed my skills in communication and promotion. Outside of my studies, I'm actively involved in the music scene and campus life. I founded the Music & Entertainment Business Association (MEBA) to inspire fellow students who share my enthusiasm for the industry. My goal is to blend my marketing expertise with my love for music to make a meaningful impact in the entertainment world.

Paige Rhine

I’m Paige Rhine, a senior strategic communication and media student focusing in public relations and integrated marketing communications at Slippery Rock University. I have a passion for community relations, fostering connections and fortifying the ties that bind individuals to their community. I commit my time and energy to initiatives that inspire and uplift the people around me. Aside from my concentrations in public relations and integrated marketing communications, I am obtaining a certification in global and intercultural communication, making me specialized in the concepts of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Outside of the classroom, I am the president of RockPRSSA, Slippery Rock University’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. My goal is to foster a positive and uplifting environment where members feel empowered to share their ideas and grow professionally. I also aim to strengthen the relationships I have with industry professionals and provide valuable opportunities for all members.
